International romance bestseller Jennifer Probst, literary sensation Marcy Dermansky, and Chicago-based magisterial novelist Gint Aras will participate in readings, signings, and discussion moderated by M. M. De Voe and Christina Chiu. Wine and Refreshments compliments of Andaz Wall Street.

The final Pen Parentis Literary Salon of the 2017 Spring Season presents bring four incredible writers to a convivial downtown locale to read, mingle, sign books, and discuss art and life--and you are invited to join the conversation! On Tuesday May 9th, 2017 at Andaz Wall Street (75 Wall, enter at Water), the authors will be featured in a panel discussion moderated by Wai Look Award-winner Christina Chiu and Pen Parentis founding director M. On February 9th, the Pen Parentis Literary Salon's theme is Fame and Fortune -- readers will include the President and Publisher of Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Jonathan Galassi, the fashion-insider and bestselling novelist, Tia Williams, and Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, co-authors of the internationally best selling books (and movie) The Nanny Diaries and nine subsequent novels.

We are thrilled to additionally announce that AMY SHEARN will guest-host alongside Pen Parentis founder M. M. De Voe. Amy established the famed Lit at Lark reading series and currently runs a wonderful author-interview series at the Brooklyn Public Library. You can expect an animated, sharp, and witty discussion covering a wide variety of topics! It's sure to be fun and thought-provoking, and we hope that you will join us. Greenlight Bookstore will vend books for signings.

Join us at our Annual Winter Poetry Night! 

Pen Parentis warms your New Year with an intimate and lively evening of poetry and conversation, featuring four acclaimed poets: Ravi Shankar, Karen Skolfield, Lydia Cortes and Amy Dryansky. Each poet will read from their work and then talk about their writing and parenting lives in an informal roundtable. With this many poets on the stage, you can expect an animated, sharp, and witty discussion covering a wide variety of topics! It's sure to be fun and thought-provoking, and we hope that you will join us.

NYC - Pen Parentis Literary Salon - Thought-Provoking Fiction

On Tuesday, November 10th, 2015, Pen Parentis Literary Salons NYC present thought-provoking novelists Lucinda Rosenfeld, Will Chancellor, and Elisa Albert at the beautiful Andaz Wall Street at 75 Wall. The event begins at 7pm with industry networking, followed by readings and discussion about writing craft and life-work balance for authors who are also parents. Admission is free but RSVP is recommended. Andaz Wall Street also graciously provides complimentary wine and light refreshments.
